Food and other essentials
Most restaurants and bars provide high chairs and children's menus. Child-friendly restaurants are easy to find, and Garfunkel's (after security control) has a full children's menu complete with activity pack.
Boots pharmacy (branches before and after security) supplies baby essentials including nappies, formula milk and baby wipes.
Baby changing facilities
Specially equipped rooms for feeding and changing babies are indicated by either a bottle sign or a babycare symbol. Changing facilities are provided in the check-in area, en route to the gates, in the transfer area and after passport control in arrivals. There are also fold-down tables provided in some male and female toilets.
Entertainment
Reading matter and toys
WHSmith and World News offer a wide range of magazines, comics and puzzle books to keep youngsters entertained. There's also a branch of the world-famous Hamleys toy store in the departure lounge, after security.
Arcade entertainment
GameGrid provides the best in arcade entertainment including air hockey, table football and computer games. There are branches before and after security, and in arrivals.
Gatwick parking options
All our parking options are family-friendly – compare them on our parking option pages to see which suits you best.
Why not try out the valet parking service, where staff park your car for you. Drop your car off on level 3 of the short stay car park. It's perfect for families.
Watching the planes
There are plenty of spots in the North Terminal where youngsters can watch the action on the airfield and taxiways. Try Costa, Starbucks or Aqua Bar (all on the upper level, after security). If your flight leaves from Pier 6 (gates 101 - 113), you can even watch planes passing under the bridge on your way.
