Blue Badge parking is easily found in the short stay car parks at both terminals. Accessible routes into the terminals are also clearly signposted.
Help points for passengers with reduced mobility (PRM) are located near the reserved parking spaces. Help is free to those with special needs.
Parking for Blue Badge holders is available in a number of clearly signed areas throughout the short stay car parks.
Premium Parking
If you are a Blue Badge holder, you are also eligible to park in the Premium Parking area of level 2 of the orange car park (if space is available). There is a minimum tariff of £18 for parking in this area, however, Blue Badge holders can park here for up to four hours at the standard short stay tariff.
To take advantage of this, simply press the call button at the entrance barrier to Premium Parking and give the attendant your Blue Badge number. Please note: do not put your ticket in the machine at the barrier, otherwise you will be charged at the minimum premium rate. To exit the area, please use the call button to advise the attendant.
For stays of four hours or more, the regular premium tariff will apply.
Premium Parking for stays of 24 hours or more, you can pre-book online via our dedicated parking website. This includes access to Premium Security lane for up to four people.
If you need help, we recommend that you pre-book assistance with your airline or travel agent at least 48 hours in advance. We will of course do our best to help if you forget to do this. Simply use the help point telephone to ring for assistance and have your flight number handy.
All the short stay car parks have a general height limit of two metres, but there is a high-sided vehicle park nearby if needed.
If you are parking in a Blue Badge space but want to take your badge abroad, you must show your badge to the car park operator before you leave your car – just contact them by pushing the help button on the car park entry machine.
Please pay for car park tickets at customer service kiosks or automatic payment machines before returning to your car.
