Approved Operator Scheme
In 2013 Gatwick Airport ran a consultation on a proposal to run an approved operator scheme. From June 2013 an approved operator scheme for off-airport parking companies has been in place at the airport.
You can read the scheme in full here.
How to apply for Approved Operator status
Please read full details of the criteria for the Approved Operator scheme. In the first instance meet and greet operators need to apply to West Sussex or Surrey Trading Standards for Buy With Confidence accreditation. Once you have this accreditation from Trading Standards, please complete the licence agreement and email a copy to firstname.lastname@example.org. Two signed paper copies should also be posted to:
Head of Surface Transport (AOS)
Gatwick Airport Limited
5th Floor, Destinations Place
West Sussex RH6 0NP.
