We aim to inform, inspire and invest in young people through our innovative education programme

Around 24,000 people currently work at Gatwick Airport in a wide variety of companies and diverse roles. It is an exciting place to work and as the airport continues to grow we want to build a pipeline of talent for the future.

We are working with a range of partner organisations to ensure that the airport can meet its employment and skills needs today and into the future. Our education programme aims to inform, inspire and invest in young people, opening up the world of opportunity that the airport offers to everyone and helping them to develop the right skills for the right job.

  • Inform: informing students about the wide range of careers at the airport; raising aspirations; and opening their eyes to the world of work with real life examples.
  • Inspire: inspiring students about the importance and relevance of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) subjects and how these skills are used in the world of work; and specifically at the airport.
  • Invest: investing in our future workforce by creating a range of employment opportunities and routes into employment.
