Gatwick Airport Community Trust

Gatwick Airport Community Trust

Gatwick Airport Community Trust logoGatwick Airport Community Trust is an independent charity set up by the legally-binding agreement between West Sussex County Council, Crawley Borough Council and Gatwick Airport.

The Trust ensures that as the airport continues to grow, funding should be ploughed back in to the local communities most affected by the airport and its operations.

As part of our legal commitment with our local authorities, we make an annual donation to the Gatwick Airport Community Trust, and this year we have donated a total of £176,000. Local community groups and charities are able to apply to the the Trust for grants for specific projects. The Trust also receives money raised through noise fines set by the UK Government on those aircraft that infringe any noise limits at Gatwick Airport.

Gatwick Airport Community Trust is a wholly independent charity with a board responsible for the allocation of grants.
