Work is already underway to transform Gatwick and we’re investing nearly £1 billion to substantially improve our passengers’ experience and make Gatwick a truly first class airport. This investment programme will enable us to:
- Add security capacity
- Extend our baggage facilities
- Increase South Terminal departure lounge capacity
- Improve the inter-terminal shuttle
- Resurface the northern runway to keep it open 24/7
- Match the opening of check-in to passenger arrival
- Improve communications to passengers on flights using flight information screens
