Filming & photography
Filming & photography
Security, the safety of our passengers, the operational integrity of the airport and the views of our airline customers are always our primary considerations with any filming request.
Being a live operational location, filming at the airport can provide operational and security challenges, which means that while we aim to be as accommodating as possible sometimes we are unable to facilitate your request for these reasons.
All filming and photography requests are considered on a case by case basis and require an official permit. Generally, a request must be made at least FIVE working days prior to the date you wish to film or take photographs.
Please note Gatwick Airport does charge a fee for commercial filming and photography (this excludes news media and filming and photography on behalf of Gatwick Airport’s business partners).
The permit must be shown to airport staff or the police if requested.
To apply for a permit, please go to www.mediacentre.gatwickairport.com
