BBC Watchdog programme report on airport parking

Following the recent investigation into Pink Meet & Greet by the BBC’s Watchdog programme, Gatwick Airport Ltd would like to advise customers to look on the official Gatwick Airport website to find approved car parking services: www.gatwickairport.com or call 0870 850 2825.

All Valet Parking cars booked through Gatwick Airport Ltd are parked ON airport in secure car parks, which are monitored 24 hours a day and are fence and barrier controlled. Any car park used by customers who have booked through Gatwick Airport Ltd is: either immediately adjacent to the terminal building (Short Stay car parks); or within five minutes journey time (e.g. Long Stay car parks).Says Joanna Astor, Retail Director - Gatwick Airport: “We do not endorse operators like Pink Meet & Greet and we continue to cooperate with the local authorities in attempting to secure closure of any unauthorised car parks. Gatwick Airport has recently invested over £26m in its car parking facilities, including the £1.1m upgrading of the Valet Parking facilities and offers a variety of options for Long and Short Stay parking from as little as £3.59 a day.”
