Gatwick Airport re-opens 1954hrs

Gatwick Airport has now re-opened following the earlier runway closure. A number of inbound and outbound flights have been affected and passengers are advised to contact their airline for the latest flight information.
We regret the disruption caused to our passengers’ travel plans, but the safety and security of aircraft and passengers are our number one priority. The temporary closure of the runway to allow us to undertake de-icing activity is essential to ensuring safety.
