New routes to Norway from London Gatwick Airport

04 February 2009

London Gatwick Airport is welcoming a range of new routes for passengers with the expansion of the route network of Norwegian, one of its existing airlines.

Norwegian, which already operates a programme from London Gatwick Airport, is set to start operating a three-times daily service to Oslo, twice-daily to Copenhagen and daily services to Bergen, Stavanger and Aalborg. A twice-weekly service to Tromsø will also be introduced.

"It is fantastic news that Norwegian has chosen to move its operations to London Gatwick Airport,” Mike Luddy, Commercial Director London Gatwick Airport, said. “This strengthens our growing route network to the Nordic region and provides our customers with yet more choice from London Gatwick. We look forward to welcoming passengers of Norwegian on their programme which is operating almost sixty flights a week."

The new routes will start from the end of March 2009. Further details of the times of the flights can be found at www.norwegian.no and www.gatwickairport.com
