Runway re-opens at Gatwick Airport

Gatwick Airport is pleased to confirm that its single runway has re-opened following an earlier closure due to exceptional weather conditions overnight. Around 100 in and outbound flights were affected and passengers travelling from Gatwick today are advised to contact their airline for the latest flight information, as there may be some resulting disruption.

Gatwick Airport apologises for the inconvenience this may have caused to passengers’ travel plans and we are continuing to work closely with our airline and other business partners to return to a normal operation as quickly as possible.
