BAA Gatwick reports on September passenger figures

BAA Gatwick’s September passenger figures totalled 3.4 million, a 2.8% increase compared to the same month last year. The number of air transport movements for September was marginally up by 0.8% to 23,744.
Strong growth continued in long haul destinations and European scheduled services attracted over 1.2 million passengers, an increase of 8.5% compared to September 2005.
BAA Gatwick would like to remind travellers that hand baggage restrictions remain in place at all UK airports. Travellers are permitted to carry one item of hand baggage per passenger on board the aircraft and are reminded that cosmetics, liquids and gels must be packed in checked-in luggage. Dimensions of the hand baggage must not exceed: 56cm (length), 45cm (width) and 25cm (depth), including wheels, handles, side pockets etc.
