We can now accept a five-year UK HMRC statement to cover employment referencing for full pass applications. Any gaps in employment of over 28 days will still require referencing.

Please ensure you follow the guidance notes in the ‘Security interview HMRC verification template’. Additionally, the standard London Gatwick security interview should be included with each application.

You’ll need to apply for ID passes so you and your company can work at Gatwick. If your company isn't yet a member of the London Gatwick ID scheme, you’ll need to register to join.

To join the ID scheme please send an email to idcentre@gatwickairport.com including contractual evidence you have with Gatwick airport. Once reviewed by the ID centre they will send you a link to start your application.

The individual who completes this application will be the 1st authorised signatory for the company and will need to provide:  

1. Satisfactory references covering the last five years 
2. No gaps of over 28 days unaccounted for 
3. A valid and current Criminal Record Check (CRC). Valid means it was submitted within 10 weeks of the issue date 
4. If the person was overseas, a CRC will be required from all countries where the applicant has resided for over six months within the last five years. If this is the most recent CRC, this will need to be submitted within the 10-week validity period 

When the security vetting has been completed for your nominated signatory, they will be invited to attend signatory training. Once training has been completed your company will be an active member of the ID scheme and can apply for passes.
