The 16 week public consultation on Gatwick Airport's draft noise action plan closed on
7 October.
A revised draft noise action plan, which will take into account the feedback received, will be submitted to the Secretary of State for Transport by 30 November for recommendation to DEFRA as part of the adoption process.
If formally adopted, the final noise action plan for Gatwick Airport will be published in early 2010.
