Roadworks between Junction 9 and 8 of the M23 are taking place from 30 January to the end of March.

From Monday 30 January to the end of March, roadworks being carried out by Aone+ are scheduled to take place on the M23 from Gatwick (Junction 9) to replace the safety barrier.

This will impact motorists travelling northbound from Gatwick to the M25.

The works will run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There will be a hard shoulder closure and narrow lanes running on the northbound carriageway. There will also be a hard shoulder closure on the southbound carriageway.

From Tuesday 21 February between 22:00 and 04:00, a full carriageway closure will be in place northbound between Junction 9 and Junction 8. A clearly signed diversion will be in place via the A264 for one week.

Please allow extra time for your journey to and from Gatwick during this time.
