Taxi services are provided by the airport's official partner, Checker Cars.
The company will quote your fare before the journey. Cars can be pre-booked and fares paid before or at the end of the journey by cash or credit card. Cars with swivel seats are available for disabled travellers.
Checker Cars has booking offices in the North Terminal arrivals area and in the South Terminal entrance building. A journey to central London takes approximately one hour and costs around £95 depending on your final destination (plus £8 congestion charge if your destination is within the charging zone).
