Local sponsorship

Bringing local residents together gives us an opportunity to connect with our nearest neighbours. We're involved with and contribute towards many local events and organisations such as:

Horsham District Year of Culture 2019

This is a year long district wide celebration of culture and heritage sponsored by Gatwick. There's over 300  events and projects taking place to intrigue, inform and inspire local residents and visitors. From a film festival to sculpture trails, music, art and lots more. Find out how you can get involved: www.hdculture2019.co.uk

High Street Live at The Crawley Festival

High Street Live is part of the Crawley Festival of events. We have been sponsors for several years for an event that celebrates some of the best local talent with live music.

Horley Carnival

Horley is our neighbouring town where many of our colleagues live and contribute to the running of our airport. The Horley Carnival is a family day of entertainment, with a huge parade and lots of stalls.

Gatwick Fun Day

The ‘Gatwick Fun’ day event is free and offers families a whole host of exciting activities and interactive displays. This includes the chance to get up close with the vehicles and equipment used on a daily basis by the Gatwick Fire Service, Airfield Operations and our Engineering teams.

The Gatwick Aviation Museum is a unique collection of British aircraft and engines from the First World War to the 1970's. Packed full of history, the aviation museum gives an up close experience to history.

Crawley Community Awards

The Crawley Community Awards recognise and reward people who live, work, volunteer or study in the Crawley District and who offer their time, talent and skills to help and support others in their community. Now in their fourth year, the Crawley Community Awards attract hundreds of nominations each year and we are proud to be their headline sponsor

St Catherine's Hospice Midnight Walk

Gatwick has been the main sponsor for two years. The event has 1,000 walkers who make their way around Horsham by moonlight. Last year £150,000 was raised from the event for our charity partner to help care for local terminally ill people.
