Meet Airfield Operations
No two days on our airfield are the same.
Our airfield controllers could be checking the safety of buildings and structures around the airport; marshalling aircraft to guide them as they park up on stand; or responding to an aircraft incident or emergency on the runway.

Our work with local schools
In 2019, we hosted 24 school groups at the airport. We support initiatives that promote careers in STEM - science, technology, engineering and maths.
Our funding and grants
We support community projects both large and small. Over £1 million has gone to good causes through our Foundation Fund.
Our decade of change
We're working hard towards being the UK's most sustainable airport. We've set ourselves ambitious goals, which include reaching net zero before 2040.
