If you have a disability of any kind or your mobility is reduced, we offer a range of services and facilities to help you here at London Gatwick.

Special assistance help

We want to create a great experience for everyone who travels through our airport regardless of their needs. We know airports can be a stressful experience and present challenges for many people and our services aim to assist all passengers on their journey through London Gatwick.

There are many services and facilities on offer at London Gatwick to help passengers who may need a little extra help or who have specific requirements. We also provide several services for passengers travelling with hidden disabilities. You can find out more information about these services, including our industry leading hidden disability lanyard which has since been adopted by other airports. More information is below.

Update to our services following COVID-19

We have reviewed our special assistance service in light of COVID-19. You will see a number of changes at the airport. You can read all of the changes on our dedicated page.

The special assistance reception areas located by the dedicated drop-off point on the forecourts are not currently staffed. Please use the phone to speak to a member of staff and somebody will assist you. Alternatively, you can make your own way to the terminal, where someone will be able to help.
