What we're doing

The policy framework and guidelines for managing noise are set at a national and international level but as the airport operator, it is Gatwick’s responsibility to manage noise locally around the airport. We are committed to reducing noise at or around our airport.

We have a dedicated Airspace Office team whose focus is to continually monitor aircraft operations. The team also oversees the implementation of the airport’s Noise Action plan and undertakes proactive engagement with airlines to drive continuous improvement.
