Our Foundation Fund

We've supported over £1 million in grants since 2016

About our Foundation Fund

Since 2016, we've awarded funding grants to local projects and community groups.

Our Foundation Fund supports projects that:

  • Help people to gain confidence through training and new skills
  • Support families, children in need and projects that combat social isolation and disadvantage
  • Provide young people with opportunities that they would not otherwise have
  • Improve access to facilities and reducing isolation for the elderly

Springboard in horsham has benefitted from our foundation fund

We also fund grants through the independent Gatwick Airport Community Trust.

How to apply

Individual Community Foundations manage the fund on our behalf. They oversee the programme and assess all applications.

Each year, there are three rounds of grants. We split grants equally between Sussex, Surrey & Kent.

Unfortunately, the Foundation Fund is currently paused due to the impact of COVID-19. We're looking forward to supporting more causes very soon. Watch this page for updates.

We're proud to support as many causes as we can through the Gatwick Foundation Fund.
