Vehicle compatibility

Safe and secure

This on-airport location features 24-hour security patrols, no public access to the parking area, ANPR-controlled entry and exit, a floodlit site with perimeter fencing, and Park Mark Safer Parking approval.

Blue Badge holders

Our Robotic Parking features private, spacious garages that are fully accessible and compliant with the Equality Act 2010. The shuttle bus to the terminal is also fully accessible.

Arrival at the airport

From London or Brighton, exit the M23 at Junction 9, following signs for Gatwick Airport
Use the filter lane and turn left at the first roundabout (J9a), following signs for the South Terminal
After 100 metres, take the second turning on the left, following signs for Long Stay car park
Stay on this road, bearing right, until you reach the Long Stay car park entrance barriers
On arrival the barrier will open automatically using number plate recognition (ANPR). If it doesn’t, press the help button for assistance

Once inside the car park

Follow the clearly marked signs for Robotic Parking
Drive up to an available garage, identified by a green tick above the door, and park inside
Then to complete check-in, use the screen outside the garage and the door will close
Once check-in is complete, one of our robots will collect your car and park it securely while you continue your journey

Returning to your car

After landing, take the walking route to Robotic Parking or the free shuttle bus back to South Terminal Long Stay car park (Zone B, bus stop 2).
Follow signs back to Robotic Parking
To collect your car go to the screen outside the garages, scan your QR code and follow the onscreen instructions.
Your car will be brought back to you and ready for collection.
