By train
All rail services operate from London Gatwick's South Terminal. If you arrive at North Terminal simply take the terminal shuttle service to the South Terminal which takes just two minutes.

London Gatwick to Heathrow

There are a few options for which route to take when travelling to Heathrow from London Gatwick:

The easiest route by train is to take a Thameslink train from Gatwick Airport to Farringdon where you can change to the Elizabeth Line for direct services to the Heathrow terminals.

Gatwick Express trains to London Victoria depart twice an hour from South Terminal and take 30 minutes. From Victoria you will need to catch a Circle Line tube from Victoria to Paddington. Finally, take the Heathrow Express Paddington to Heathrow, which run every 15 minutes.

Alternatively, all our coach operators (National Express, Airline or Flixbus) offer direct services between Gatwick and Heathrow.

London Gatwick to Stansted

Gatwick Express departs twice an hour to London Victoria station and takes just 30 minutes. Stansted Express trains depart from London Liverpool Street every 15 or 30 minutes with an average journey time of 45 minutes.

You can also pick up the Stansted Express service from Tottenham Hale Underground Station (Victoria line).

You can travel between Victoria and Liverpool Street stations by bus, taxi or London Underground (Circle Line or Victoria and Central lines).

London Gatwick to Luton

Thameslink offer four direct trains an hour to Luton Airport (02, 06, 32 and 36 minutes past the hour). The journey takes around 75 minutes to Luton Airport Parkway. From here, you can take the Luton DART (Direct Air-Rail Transit) that covers he 4-minute journey from Luton Airport Parkway to London Luton Airport Terminal. The DART is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

By coach
National Express operate non-stop services between London Gatwick and Heathrow, with some direct services to Stansted and Luton airports as well.

London Gatwick to Luton - around 2 hours 30 minutes for direct services
