Rail disruption

Monday 14 to Thursday 17 October - Amended late night service between Haywards Heath and Brighton

Engineering work is taking place between Haywards Heath and Brighton, closing lines overnight from Monday evening until Thursday morning.

From 23:45 until the end of service, trains running between Haywards Heath and Brighton will be diverted to run via Lewes. Replacement buses will run between Haywards Heath and Brighton.

Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 October - Amended service between London and Brighton all weekend

Engineering work is taking place between Purley and Balcombe and also between Brighton and Lewes, closing some lines.

On Saturday and Sunday, Gatwick Express services will run between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport only. Passengers travelling to/from Brighton should use alternative Southern or Thameslink services between Gatwick Airport and Brighton.

From 23:45 on Saturday and all day on Sunday, Gatwick Express services will be diverted, extending journey times. A reduced train service will be in operation, with trains every half hour.

Southern services between London Victoria/London Bridge and Brighton will be subject to extended journey times.
