What is the cost for children to go through Fast Track Security and Fast Track Passport Control?

Children aged two and over need their own tickets to use both Fast Track Security and Fast Track Passport Control at London Gatwick. Children under two can go through for free with a paying adult.

How do I book a hotel if my flight is cancelled?

If your flight is cancelled, please speak to your airline who may be able to rebook your flight and book a hotel for you.  If they are unable to help, go to the Your Service Centre desk operated by Skybreak who offer a recovery service to passengers to make last minute travel arrangements as a result of cancelled or missed flights.

Is there somewhere I can eat before security?

Yes, there are cafés, restaurants and takeaway options available in both terminals before security. You can see everything on our Restaurants, cafés and bars page.

How do I view, amend, or cancel my lounge booking?

If you booked your lounge directly through the lounge operator or your airline, you'll need to change your reservation by contacting them directly. Your booking confirmation will include their contact details.

If you booked via our website, you can manage your lounge booking up to 24 hours before your scheduled entry. To do this, log in to myGatwick, view your 'Order History' where you can view, amend or cancel your order.

Is there somewhere I can shop before security?

Yes, there are shops available in both terminals before security including Boots, WHSmith, and M&S. You can see everything on our Shopping directory.

How do I book Fast Track Security or Fast Track Passport Control?

You can book Fast Track Security either in advance or on the day of travel. Booking online gives you access to a discounted rate and helps you move through security more quickly.

If you're arriving at London Gatwick, Fast Track Passport Control can be booked online only, up to six months in advance and no later than four hours before your flight is due to land.

Are there hotel transfer options?

Yes, the Gatwick Hoppa is the official bus service between the North and South Terminals and the nearby airport hotels. The shuttle departs from Bus Stop 8 at the North Terminal and Bus Stop 9 at the South Terminal, each just a five?minute walk from arrivals. Hotels serviced include Holiday Inn London Gatwick Airport, Travelodge Gatwick Airport Central, Courtyard London Gatwick Airport, and Premier Inn London Gatwick Airport (A23).

Where are the on-airport hotels?

At the North Terminal, you'll find the Sofitel, the Hampton by Hilton, and the Premier Inn. All are steps from check-in, letting you walk straight in after parking or train arrival.

At the South Terminal, your options include YOTEL in the arrivals area (perfect for Short Stays), the bloc hotel right beside security with great runway views from many rooms, Courtyard by Marriott, and the Hilton.

What lounges are available?

In the North Terminal, you will find the Emirates Lounge, which is by invitation only, No1 Lounge, My Lounge, Plaza Premium Lounge, Plaza Premium Express, and Clubrooms, which are available to all travellers to book in advance or access with lounge memberships.

In the South Terminal, eligible passengers can use the British Airways Club Lounge or British Airways First Lounge. Other options open to all include the No1 Lounge, My Lounge, Club Aspire Lounge, and Clubrooms.

How can I get through passport control quicker?

To get through passport control more quickly, you can book Fast Track Passport Control. This service is available to book online only, from up to six months in advance and no later than four hours before your flight is due to land at London Gatwick.

Where can I buy a UK SIM card?

There are many places to buy SIM cards at London Gatwick, both before and after security and in arrivals. These include WHSmith shops in both terminals.

What is Fast Track Passport Control?

Fast Track Passport Control at London Gatwick offers a dedicated lane at UK border control to help you get through faster and continue your journey without delay. It’s open to all passengers, regardless of airline or class of travel, and is especially convenient for business travellers, short-stay visitors, and those with hand luggage only.

You’ll need to book in advance, at least four hours before your flight arrives, as you can’t purchase this service at the airport. Children under two can go through free when accompanied by a paying adult.

How much duty-free can I buy?
